Your First Year
Your first week will be a chance to find your feet and get to know the people and the place where you'll be working. You'll also have the opportunity to get to know your way around our intranet and complete our online corporate induction, so you can get a greater understanding of the wider PB family.
By the end of your first month you'll have developed your 'roadmap to Chartership' with the help of your mentor. Together, you'll also have identified the skills-based training you'll need to complete that journey. Your mentor will also help you to sign up for the PB University and our Professional Growth Network.
During your first year you'll be invited to our PB graduate induction event. This is a chance for graduates from across the UK to get together for a few days, usually at an outdoor centre in Wales, and it's as much about having some fun, as it is about building networks and knowledge.
Of course, your first year will also involve getting hands-on with one or more projects. There may also be opportunities to take a lead role on one or more of these, depending on the type of project, and to experience work in different PB departments and offices depending on your discipline and department.
