Our Space Project

 

O2 is the UK's leading provider of mobile phones and broadband. At their headquarters in Slough they wanted to create a new campus-style office environment, suitable for a progressive telecommunications company and one that would maximise the O2 brand.

The project involved the refurbishment of an existing 95,000 sq ft building and the fit-out of a new 100,000 sq ft building, together with designing and building a new two-storey entrance structure between the two buildings and landscaping and redistributing any lost car parking into the campus.

To deliver the project PB brought together mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, public health, lighting and carbon management expertise, and also co-ordinated the design and construction phases with multiple contractors.

The new O2 campus now provides a high-quality working environment for around 2,000 staff, complete with meeting room facilities for O2 customers visiting the campus and a high-profile reception space that shows of the O2 brand at its best.
